Taylor Odom Foundation

The Taylor-Odom Foundation is a nonprofit organization established to honor Davey Lea Taylor Odom and Douglas E. “Doc” Odom, whose family values emphasized higher education, hard work, and applying one’s abilities to build a good life. The Foundation’s central mission is to help graduating seniors from high schools in Liberty County, Texas, pursue further education, particularly students who may not be able to afford it.

It provides scholarships each year and aims to support underserved students as they work toward their goals and prepare for a competitive employment environment. The organization is led by officers and directors with backgrounds in education, business, human resources, and process technology. Its website shares information about the Foundation, scholarship recipients, press releases, and how to contact the organization.

It also provides application details, including the deadline for submissions to be postmarked. Through its scholarship program, the Taylor-Odom Foundation seeks to carry forward the encouragement and educational values of the people for whom it was named
