TBAWA

The Tee-Ball Association of WA (TBAWA) supports tee-ball across Western Australia, helping children discover an inclusive, active team sport and connecting families with local clubs. Tee-ball is a simplified form of baseball and softball, designed especially for young players: batters hit from an adjustable tee, there is no pitching, and games use a smaller diamond and a one-hour time limit. The sport welcomes children aged 3–12, with no prior experience required, and encourages fun, fair play, fundamental skills and family involvement. Players develop ball skills, hand-eye coordination, teamwork and confidence while making friends.

TBAWA provides information and resources for players, families, clubs, coaches and umpires. These include club-finding tools, an age-group calculator, policies, forms, fees and insurance information, official rules and manuals, and training and accreditation opportunities. The association also supports coaching and umpiring clinics, events, registrations, fixtures and results, and state championships. Most clubs offer weekly after-school training and Saturday games, with season dates and fees set locally.
