TC-Colonius

TC Colonius is a tennis club in Ehrenfeld, Cologne, offering an open, welcoming approach to the sport in an urban setting. Its six-court facility sits in the city’s green belt beneath the Colonius television tower and is accessible by car, bicycle and public transport. Founded in 1980 as the Lufthansa Tennis Club Cologne, the association opened to the public and adopted the TC Colonius name in 2004.

Today, around 480 members play across a range of ages and skill levels, with 13 teams competing in league tennis from district to regional level. The club also welcomes hobby and recreational players, helping members find playing partners and connect through tennis. Court availability can be checked online, while bookings are made at a clubhouse terminal with both players present.

Training opportunities include holiday tennis camps for children and young people. Beyond the courts, TC Colonius hosts club championships, social gatherings and parties, and offers a club clothing collection
