About TCAT
Everything TCAT, also known as Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit, is a non-profit corporation that provides public transportation services in Ithaca and Tompkins County. With a fleet of 55 clean diesel and battery-electric buses, TCAT offers reliable and eco-friendly transportation options for the community. Additionally, TCAT partners with Gadabout Transportation to provide ADA Complementary Paratransit service.
For college students, TCAT offers convenient transportation during the fall and summer semesters, with snow detours in place for the winter. The system also caters to seniors, providing information and resources through the Way2Go program. Safety is a top priority, with rules and guidelines in place for bringing bikes on buses, as well as designated park and ride lots.
In case of lost belongings, TCAT strives to reunite passengers with their items promptly.
