About Training Centre in Communication
TCC Africa is an award-winning Training Centre in Communication that aims to increase the profile of African science both locally and internationally. As the first African-based training centre of its kind, TCC Africa focuses on improving skills in technical communication for scientists. Established in 2006 as a non-profit entity and registered in Kenya, TCC Africa provides capacity support in various areas such as improving researchers’ output and visibility, scholarly communication, and science communication.
In today's competitive academic environment, scientists need to effectively communicate with their peers, from developing research ideas to writing proposals. TCC Africa also supports published researchers in translating their work for different audiences, conducting interactive workshops with science media partners and communication specialists. With a rich history since its first course in 2006, TCC Africa continues to contribute to the growth and impact of African science
