TCE Ecuador

The Tribunal Contencioso Electoral (TCE) is Ecuador’s official specialized body for resolving electoral disputes and administering electoral justice. Its work includes hearing cases arising from electoral processes, issuing rulings and jurisprudence, and publishing decisions and legal guidance through its jurisprudence resources and the Gaceta Contencioso Electoral. The TCE also provides public access to case information, jurisdictional documents, hearing and plenary-session calendars, regulations, institutional reports, and transparency materials.

For citizens and legal users, the Tribunal offers services and resources through its website, including an online contact channel, a citizen service mailbox, access to certificates, and information about training courses. Its publications include bulletins, magazines, books, and electoral justice materials. The institution also shares news, institutional videos, and updates on its activities and election periods. In addition to its judicial responsibilities, the TCE conducts public education and training, including work addressing gender-based political violence, and collaborates with other public institutions to support equality, responsible information use, and democratic participation.
