About Theatre Communications Group
The Theatre Communications Group (TCG) is a national organization that has been leading for a just and thriving theatre ecology since 1961. Their constituency has expanded to encompass over 750 Member Theatres, Affiliate organizations, and over 3,000 Individual Members. TCG's reach extends to over one million students, audience members, and theatre professionals annually through its various programs and services.
TCG offers networking and knowledge-building opportunities, grants and scholarships, and advocates on the federal level. Their publishing arm is the largest independent trade publisher of dramatic literature in North America and includes award-winning American Theatre magazine and ARTSEARCH®, the essential career source for the arts. TCG champions its vision of "a better world for theatre, and a better world because of theatre" using adaptive and responsive leadership, equitable representation, and individual and collective action.
