Tender Care PPEC is a pediatric prescribed extended care facility providing skilled nursing care for medically complex, medically fragile, and technologically dependent children from birth through age 21. Founded in 1988, the organization describes itself as Florida’s first independently owned PPEC and brings decades of experience to supporting children and their families. Its mission is to help each child develop through collaboration with families, physicians, nurses, and therapists.

Tender Care combines medical care with a daycare-like setting where children can socialize and take part in structured activities that support development and emotional well-being. Services include individualized pediatric nursing, care-plan coordination with physicians, and physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapy. The organization also offers caregiver and family training, family communication and support, an education program, and nutritious meals through Florida’s Child Care Food Program, with feeding assistance for children who use G or J tubes. Free transportation with a nurse is available to support safe travel.
