TCQHA

Twin Cities Queer Hockey Association (TCQHA) is a community hockey organization focused on creating a safe, inclusive space for people to enjoy the sport. Its community welcomes LGBTQIA+ members and allies, bringing players together through organized hockey and shared activities in the Twin Cities.

TCQHA offers winter pick-up hockey and league play, with adult teams arranged across intermediate, lower, and upper divisions. The association publishes schedules and team information, and its winter league also has opportunities for substitute players. Resources for members include level descriptions, hockey equipment guidance, league game rules, a sub-player policy, and a code of conduct. TCQHA also provides information about scholarships and apparel, including association jerseys and socks.

Beyond hockey, TCQHA supports community connections and local partnerships. It has collaborated with 56 Brewing on the brewery’s annual Pride beer. The organization shares information about its board and subcommittees, along with guidance for visitors interested in playing while in the Twin Cities. Through recreational play, practical resources, and an inclusive community, TCQHA helps make hockey more welcoming.
