TCYSAPC

The Travis County Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition (TCYSAPC) is a community-focused coalition that strengthens collaboration among local partners working to prevent or reduce substance use among young people. Its work brings organizations and community members together around youth prevention, substance-related education, and healthier outcomes. The coalition’s website provides information about its mission and history, bylaws, meetings, executive board, and past events, including summits and webinars.

It also features resources and projects addressing topics such as opioid misuse among girls and opioid trends in Travis County, alongside news and research on youth vaping, nicotine, alcohol, cannabis, and other substance-related concerns. TCYSAPC has partnered with Kids Living Well (KLW), an initiative that takes a whole-health approach to youth substance use prevention. The coalition announced that the two groups would merge rather than continue operating separately, combining their efforts to support the community.
