Tierradeesperanza is a Chilean foundation dedicated to the welfare and future of children. Their mission is to protect the rights of children and provide them with a hopeful future. Through their various programs and initiatives, they strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for children in need.

One of their notable programs is the Programa de Protección a la Familia (PPF) Pichikeche, which supports and assists families in crisis. Recently, 22 children and adolescents participating in this program had an exciting opportunity to visit the Quinta Compañía de Bomberos de Temuco (Temuco Fire Department). This visit allowed the children to learn about the vital work that firefighters do for the community.

Guided by enthusiastic volunteers from the fire department, the children had the chance to explore emergency vehicles, tools, drones, and uniforms used during various rescue missions. This experience not only provided a fun and educational outing but also created a space for bonding and knowledge-sharing between the children and their caregivers.
