Transform Drug Policy is a UK-based independent charity with a vision for a world where drug policy prioritizes health, protects the vulnerable, and emphasizes safety. As an organization, we strive to achieve this vision through various means. Firstly, we educate the public and policymakers on effective drug policy, ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge to make informed decisions.

Secondly, we develop and promote viable alternatives to prohibition, challenging the status quo and offering alternative solutions. Additionally, we provide a voice for those directly affected by drug policy failures, amplifying their stories and advocating for their rights. Moreover, we support policymakers and practitioners in implementing positive changes, working collaboratively with them to drive transformation.

Our efforts extend beyond the long-term goal, as we actively work to save lives today through initiatives such as police diversion schemes, overdose prevention centers, and drug checking. We also engage internationally with civil society, governments, and multilateral agencies to shape drug policies that prioritize public health, security, and sustainable development goals. Through our Anyone's Child campaign, we create opportunities for individuals with personal experiences of drug policy failures to be heard.

Notably, we have formed an Allyship in partnership with Blaksox to ensure that Black communities' voices and experiences are included in the drug law reform discourse in the UK. We value our independence and maintain clear guidelines that prevent us from working with industries that profit from drug markets. Our dedicated team, supported by a committed board of trustees, works tirelessly to drive positive change and establish a safer system of legal regulation for all drugs.
