Team ELLES

Team ELLES Vertou Vélo is a cycling association based in Vertou, near Nantes, combining competitive sport with education, inclusion and sustainable mobility. Founded in 2016, the club develops women’s high-level cycling and supports young riders through training and competition. Its women’s team competes in events including the Coupe de France and covers more than 15,000 kilometres each season. Since 2022, Vertou Vélo has also offered club cycling for young people, adults and women, with recreational and competitive options, road rides, training from age 11 and support for aspiring elite cyclists.

Through Rayo’Nantes and Savoir Rouler à Vélo, the association helps women, children and people who face barriers to sport or employment gain confidence and independence through cycling. Its activities connect sport with social inclusion, education and access to sustainable transport. Rooted in Vertou and active across the Nantes area, Team ELLES Vertou Vélo works with partners to advance sporting excellence, equal opportunity and wider access to cycling for all.
