Team Groundhog Basketball Club is a New York-based nonprofit youth organization that promotes competitive basketball, teamwork, discipline, and focus. Through its local basketball league and boys’ Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) programs, the club encourages young people to participate in basketball as a form of exercise and personal development. Its approach emphasizes the value of working together and practicing hard, with the aim of helping players apply what they learn both on and off the court.
The information provided describes a boys’ high school traveling team for the 2022 AAU season, including a 17U/11th-grade division. Eligibility followed AAU age and grade rules. The club’s listed resources include a registration form, fees information, and a waiver form, while prospective players and families are invited to contact Coach John Jones by email or phone for details. Team Groundhog presents basketball as more than competition: it is an opportunity for New York youth to build useful habits and contribute to a team. Its message centers on unity, commitment, and growth through practice and play.
