Team Motion

Team Motion is a Danish association dedicated to recreational cycling and community, based in Esbjerg Municipality. Founded in 2012, it encourages members’ interest in cycling while providing a setting for sporting and social activities. The association also turns its events into support for charitable causes: proceeds are distributed to nonprofit purposes, primarily in the local area, with a focus on socially vulnerable children and young people. Since its founding, Team Motion has raised approximately 1.4 million Danish kroner for donations.

Members can take part in the association’s activities and training rides, held on Wednesdays and Sundays, for an annual fee of 200 kroner. Team Motion also organises a recreational cycling tour each year; the 2024 edition was planned on a smaller scale than in previous years. Alongside cycling and fundraising, the association shares news and encourages conversation among members through its Facebook page. Team Motion brings people together around exercise, shared experiences and practical contributions to children and young people in need.
