TEAM NO FE4R

Team NO FE4R is a community basketball and mentorship program serving youth in the Newtown community. Its free initiative offers structured basketball training and positive mentorship at Emma E. Booker Elementary, Booker Middle School, Roy McBean Boys & Girls Club, and Newtown Estates Park Club. Designed for students in grades 2–8, the program holds weekly sessions at each site and is supported by coaches and players from Booker Middle and Booker High. Training develops basketball fundamentals, effort, discipline, leadership, and character, while mentorship helps young people build practical life skills and take ownership of their growth.

The organization’s core values are wellness, leadership empowerment, and integrity. It promotes mental and physical health, encourages youth to lead by example and make a positive impact, and emphasizes honesty, accountability, and respect. Fully funded by donors, the program is offered at no cost to schools or families. Team NO FE4R also invites local businesses, trainers, and organizations to partner in expanding its impact, and welcomes support for individual athletes.
