Team Pedroso is a martial arts academy in Perdizes, São Paulo, dedicated to traditional Japanese Jiu-Jitsu and the Budokan approach. With more than 38 years of history, the academy presents training as a path to technical development, personal growth, and values that extend beyond the mat. Its programs are for children and adults, with collective classes and private lessons available.
Students learn a range of traditional disciplines, including Nage Waza (throwing techniques), Katame Waza or Ne Waza (control and grappling techniques), Atemi Waza (strikes to specific points), and practical self-defense. Training aims to develop discipline, focus, self-confidence, resistance, health, and the ability to protect oneself and others.
Classes are led by Mestre Michel Pedroso, a seventh-dan instructor whose teaching experience spans beginner and advanced students, children, and professional fighters. The academy offers weekday and Saturday group sessions, dedicated children’s classes, and private lessons by arrangement. Team Pedroso is located at Rua Turiassú, 1172, São Paulo, and welcomes inquiries about schedules and enrollment.
