Team Reece

Team Reece is a children’s brain tumour and cancer charity based in Morecambe, established to continue Reece David Holt’s legacy and support families affected by childhood cancer. Inspired by Reece’s courage during his battle with a rare malignant brain tumour, the charity aims to provide practical support, raise awareness and help fund better treatment options.

A central goal is to provide families with access to a static caravan on an inclusive site, offering respite and time together to make lasting memories. Team Reece also funds and organises days out for children with cancer and their families and friends, recognising that the illness affects the whole family. Its work includes supporting schools with information about cancer, its effects and treatments, as well as educational equipment for children undergoing treatment.

Through donations, fundraising events and volunteer support, the charity seeks to contribute to new equipment, clinical trials and potential cures where funding is unavailable through the NHS.
