Team Servicehunden Danmark ApS

Team Servicehunden Danmark is a Danish organisation specialising in service dogs for autistic people and people with stress-related conditions. Its multidisciplinary team combines expertise in dog breeding, behaviour and training with knowledge of nursing, psychiatry and neuropedagogy. The organisation aims to improve clients’ quality of life through carefully selected and individually matched dogs, supported by a tailored training and guidance programme.

Its approach is neuro-affirming and designed to respect each person’s individual needs, learning style and communication. For each client, the team develops a learning profile to inform training and ongoing support. Service dogs are prepared to encourage safety and predictability, provide sensory support, assist with social situations and help users avoid becoming overwhelmed. Training can also address areas such as emotional regulation, communication and executive functioning.

Team Servicehunden Danmark works with families and municipal caseworkers to create suitable solutions, and adapts support as needs change. The organisation’s goal is to build a strong, sustainable partnership between each service dog and its handler, while offering a reassuring experience for users and their families.
