Team Tate Academy

Team Tate Academy is an online dressage education platform led by Jessica Jo “JJ” Tate, offering classical riding instruction for horse and rider partnerships at every level. Its aim is to make high-quality, USDF-accredited education accessible to juniors, adult amateurs, and professionals, not only elite competitors. The academy emphasizes harmony, integrity, devotion to the horse’s well-being, and building a trusting partnership through thoughtful training.

Members can choose from three packages designed to suit different learning needs and budgets. Courses feature concise instructional videos with demonstrations of exercises and movements, guidance on what riders should feel, and advice for correcting common mistakes. Accompanying PDF workbooks help students apply each lesson with their own horses. Team Tate Fundamentals includes six video lessons, two theory lectures, and five ridden demonstrations. The site also offers a podcast, blog, clinics, and FAQs, and shares updates about mini-courses, lectures, small-tour content, and enrollment opportunities. Through its academy and educational resources, Team Tate supports riders as they develop their skills and pursue their own dressage goals.
