Team United is a programme of The Autism FA that creates inclusive football opportunities for autistic and neurodivergent young people across Scotland. Its pathway is designed to help break down social barriers and make football accessible to young people with disabilities. Recognised as a go-to pathway within Scottish Para Football, Team United supports players at different stages, from those taking part for the first time to those looking for competitive football.
The programme offers a person-centred journey, recognising that each player’s interests and needs are different. Through football, Team United aims to help young people build confidence, make connections and develop a sense of community, supporting them to thrive both on and off the pitch. The organisation also shares information for young people and highlights its projects and impact.
Team United is based in Dalgety Bay, Fife, and welcomes enquiries through The Autism FA. Its work brings sport and inclusive participation together, creating opportunities for young people to engage with football in a supportive pathway
