Lietuvos nacionalinis dramos teatras

The Lithuanian National Drama Theatre is a national performing arts institution presenting a varied programme of theatre for audiences with different interests and ages. Its repertoire spans contemporary and classic drama, literary readings, comedy and stand-up, with productions staged in its Great, Small and New halls. The calendar features works such as Antigone, Tartufo, Metamorphosis, Siberian Haiku and Ronja the Robber’s Daughter, alongside performances that tour to venues elsewhere in Lithuania.

Visitors can explore the theatre’s history, company and past seasons, and find practical information about performances, ticket purchases, discounts, ticket changes and refunds. The theatre also offers gift vouchers and information for audience members with disabilities. Its wider programme includes educational activities, events, volunteering, guided theatre tours and experiential workshops, as well as resources through Teatroteka and the Cultural Passport initiative. Other activities include a dramaturgy residency, the Versmė programme and opportunities for collaboration. Through its performances and public programmes, the theatre brings together artistic creation, audience engagement and learning, while also highlighting sustainability in theatre.
