Tech Ceylon Social Ventures is a registered social enterprise in Sri Lanka, started by a group of engineers and technologists who share a vision of using technology for economic development, poverty alleviation, and environmental protection. Our main focus is on empowering individuals and communities through technology, particularly in the war-affected regions of northern and eastern provinces of Sri Lanka.

We collaborate with government, semi-government and private sector companies, as well as other non-profit organizations, to deliver technically sound and economically sustainable projects aimed at improving the quality of life. Our activities span various areas, including transforming livelihood activities in agriculture, animal husbandry, and fisheries, influencing government policy on engineering and technology, and evaluating emerging technologies in renewable energy and information technology.

Additionally, we tap into the vast financial and technological resources of the Sri Lankan diaspora to promote investments and support our initiatives. With a goal of creating a viable technology roadmap for the north-east, we actively work towards lobbying support and implementing initiatives that uplift the communities we work with.
