**Description for TECH Clean California**

TECH Clean California is a transformative statewide initiative dedicated to accelerating the adoption of low-emission heat pump technology, essential for achieving California's ambitious carbon neutrality goal by 2045. By offering financial incentives and comprehensive workforce education and training, the initiative empowers distributors and contractors to effectively stock, sell, and install advanced heat pump systems for both residential and commercial HVAC and water heating applications.

With a robust funding model supported by the California Public Utilities Commission, TECH Clean California allocates substantial resources for various incentive programs aimed at enhancing access, particularly for low-income and disadvantaged communities. The initiative seamlessly integrates with existing programs, promoting incentive layering for heat pump installations.

Whether it's offering rebates for single-family homes, multifamily units, or commercial projects, TECH Clean California connects residents with the necessary tools and knowledge for energy-efficient upgrades. Through its commitment to innovation and equity, this initiative is advancing California’s transition to a sustainable and clean energy future.
