Technical Bonded Textiles

Technical Bonded Textiles (Pty) Ltd is a Cape Town-based contract manufacturer specialising in textile and foam processing. Operating from its own machinery at a Diep River factory, the company works on customers’ materials and returns them to specification. It does not manufacture finished goods or compete in its clients’ markets. Its directors bring a combined 45 years of experience in textiles and foam.

The company offers six processes under one roof: lamination and bonding of two or more materials; slitting and rerolling master rolls to widths of up to 3,100 mm; bra cup moulding and clicking; die cutting for fabric, foam, laminated composites, PVC and leather; foam moulding for contoured parts; and foam sheeting, including polyurethane sheets and peeling. Lamination is available up to 2,300 mm wide, and foam products can be laminated, slit or cut to size.
