Technometra’s roots date to a meter repair and calibration workshop established in Prague in 1908. It adopted the Technometra name in 1949 and entered aviation instrumentation and fuel-system production in 1951. Over the following decades, it developed components for aircraft including the L-29 Delfin, L-39 Albatros, and L-410. After moving to Český Brod in 2007, the company continued its aviation work and became a subsidiary of AERO Vodochody in 2024. Its long industrial history reflects an evolution from electrical instruments and other products to a focused role in aviation component development, manufacturing, and repair.
