About Tech Quiero Canada
TechQuiero is an NGO empowering women in the tech industry. Founded in Guadalajara, México, and based in Sherbrooke, Canada, TechQuiero opened a chapter in Mexico City in 2019. Their mission is to provide women and girls with digital skills for STEM fields, enabling professional growth and narrowing the gender gap in tech.
They also offer training chapters for local communities. While focusing on women, TechQuiero welcomes men and minorities who support their safe space rule. The organization's vision is to create equitable opportunities by fostering safe spaces online and offline.
