TechTown Detroit

TechTown Detroit is Wayne State University’s entrepreneurship hub, supporting individuals and businesses with ideas and ambitions to create impact in Detroit, Wayne County, and surrounding communities. Its programs and personalized resources help entrepreneurs turn concepts into real-world businesses, build essential skills, increase revenue, create jobs, and access capital.

For small businesses, TechTown offers coaching, expert guidance, retail programs, pop-up opportunities, and initiatives such as Detroit Elevate and Hatch Detroit. Technology-focused founders can explore programs including Start Studio, Venture 313, Scale Studio, the Business Accelerator Fund, the Mobility Accelerator Innovation Network, and MedHealth.
