Ted Fund

The Ted Fund is a transformative nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between the experiences of children from different socioeconomic backgrounds in Evanston, Illinois. Established to provide quality, fee-based summer camp experiences, the fund actively facilitates access for approximately 150 children each year, empowering them with essential skills in teamwork, self-confidence, and cooperation. Through partnerships with local entities like District 65, YMCA, and YWCA, the Ted Fund awards scholarships that support children from second grade onward, ensuring they receive opportunities to engage in diverse activities, including games, arts and crafts, swimming, theatre, environmental studies, and STEM programs.
