Be a Ripple: “The influence of small choices.” A ripple effect is a series of events that happen as the result of an action. Just like ripples expanding across the water due to a tiny droplet, the choices we make in our daily lives have the potential of initiating a wave of change that can influence the lives of others in our communities.

About TEDxAwaji
TEDxAwaji is a brand founded by the residents of Awaji Island with the aim of giving a voice and a platform to the locals and bringing new ideas to the community. Their upcoming event in 2021 is set to trigger a wave of change, making a lasting positive impact on the local community.
The brand is part of the TEDx program, which organizes independently organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At these events, TED Talks videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussions and connections. While the TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, each TEDx event is self-organized, subject to certain rules and regulations.
TED, the nonprofit organization behind TEDxAwaji, is dedicated to spreading Ideas Worth Spreading. They host two annual TED Conferences where leading thinkers and doers from around the world speak for 18 minutes or less. TED's media initiatives, such as TED.com and TED Translators, aim to make these talks accessible to a global audience. Additionally, TED supports individuals or groups in hosting local TED-style events through TEDx, and the TED Fellows program helps amplify the impact of innovative projects.
