About TEDxColombo
TEDxColombo is an independent event that brings people together to share ideas worth spreading. As part of the TEDx program, this event combines TED Talks videos and live speakers to ignite deep discussions and connections. Guided by the TED Conference, TEDxColombo is a self-organized event that follows certain rules and regulations.
TEDx is a program of TED, a nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading Ideas Worth Spreading. TED provides a platform for leading thinkers and doers to deliver short talks at TED Conferences, TED Salons, and thousands of independently organized TEDx events worldwide. These talks are freely available on TED.com and other platforms.
In addition to TED Talks, TED offers various initiatives to spread ideas freely. TED.com features new TED Talk videos daily, TEDx licenses individuals and groups to organize local TED-style events, and TED Fellows amplifies the impact of innovative projects.
