TED Zorg

TED Zorg provides personalized care and support for older adults who wish to remain comfortably and independently in their own homes. Serving the Alkmaar region, the organization focuses on attention, continuity and practical help tailored to each person’s routines, preferences and abilities. Its approach centers on getting to know the individual, preserving their independence and carefully matching clients with a small number of trusted caregivers.

Services include support with daily activities such as eating and moving, companionship to help prevent loneliness, assistance with starting the day—including showering, dressing and breakfast—and household help. Caregivers can combine these tasks, for example by helping someone get ready, doing housework, going for a walk and accompanying them to medical appointments. They can also provide reminders about medication.
