About Theological Education
TEE College, short for Theological Education by Extension College, is dedicated to equipping individuals for Christian ministry within the ecumenical Church. Established under the South African Council of Churches in 1976, TEE College offers affordable and contextual theological education through accredited programs. The college's mission is to provide accessible theological education by extension, allowing students to engage in self-paced, community-based learning while remaining within their local support structures.
With a focus on non-racist, non-sexist, and ecumenical values, TEE College offers a range of programs in Theology and Christian Ministry streams. The Board of Directors ensures governance and fiduciary responsibilities are upheld, maintaining the college's legal status as a Non-Profit Company, Public Benefit Organisation, and Private Higher Education Institution. By offering accredited programs recognized by the Council on Higher Education and SAQA, TEE College continues to empower individuals for service in the Southern African church community
