Tej Artstudio is a small macramé studio creating handcrafted décor for walls, windows and room dividers. Each piece is knotted by hand, one cord at a time, using soft, durable 100% cotton selected for its colour, feel and ability to hold a crisp shape. The studio’s work includes wall hangings mounted on natural wooden arches or dowels, cotton macramé curtains, distinctive Bubble Tides designs, and custom commissions. Pieces are combed and trimmed into a soft fringe, then wrapped and boxed ready to hang.
For commissioned work, Tej collaborates with customers on the size, shape, colours and drop, providing a sketch and quote before production begins. Customers can share their own design, and the studio will sign an NDA for work based on a design they own. On-site consultation and measuring are available on Lagos Island; customers elsewhere can provide photos for sizing. Orders typically take two weeks after the sketch is agreed, and worldwide shipping is available at an additional cost.
