Tekisuikaikan

Tekisuikaikan is a prominent martial arts organization in Japan, established in December 2014 to promote the open practice of Shorinji-ryu karate. Founded by a dedicated master and his students, Tekisuikaikan emphasizes balanced training in kata (forms) and kumite (sparring), aspiring to cultivate individuals who can embody the principles of respect for life, character development, and peace through martial arts. The organization adopts a unique approach by focusing on safety through protective gear during sparring matches, striving for societal recognition akin to that of judo and kendo.

Tekisuikaikan is committed to nurturing both the physical and mental aspects of karate, instilling high moral standards against violence and bullying. By imparting a deep respect for human life, the dojo aims to guide the youth towards a future where they can lead with a global perspective enriched by Japanese traditions. With numerous branches nationwide and internationally, Tekisuikaikan is further expanding its reach, promoting karate as a respected competitive sport while fostering community and cultural values.
