Teknikite is a specialist kiteboarding school based at Lake Monteynard-Avignonet, around 30 minutes south of Grenoble in the French Alps. Founded by Eric Jourdan, a state-certified sailing and kitesurfing instructor with decades of experience at the lake, the school has taught kitesurfing exclusively since 2008. Its lessons take place on the water, with instruction by radio from a boat, allowing students to learn in a small group and get started directly on the lake.
Courses accommodate beginners and experienced riders, with tailored goals ranging from kite control and first rides to improving upwind sailing, turns and jumps. Students can book individual three-hour sessions or five-session weekday courses, with seasonal pricing and weekend options for advanced learners. Teknikite provides recent teaching equipment and full personal gear, including wetsuits, harnesses, buoyancy vests, helmets and radios.
The school operates from early May to late September and offers gift vouchers for lessons or courses. Its training is designed to help beginners gain independence and more advanced kiteboarders make measurable progress
