Tekstura

Tekstura is a Danish business association offering creative writing courses and manuscript-reading services. Its teaching team brings together authors Trisse Gejl and Jo Hermann, and literature specialist Anita Bech Albertsen, all experienced instructors. Tekstura’s courses combine practical writing exercises with literary theory, discussion and constructive feedback, helping participants develop ideas, refine their language and storytelling, and build tools for their own writing practice.

Courses are held in person in Copenhagen and online, with small groups to allow time and attention for each participant. Topics include developing a story, writing a novel, editing a manuscript, and giving memoirs a literary form. Tekstura also offers consultancy and readings for completed or partially completed manuscripts, including the opportunity to work with an author as a sparring partner. Its approach is designed for writers at different levels and encourages both focused learning and exchange with other people who write. Through its courses, manuscript services and writing tips, Tekstura supports writers in strengthening their texts and sustaining their creative work.
