Telethon

Telethon is a Western Australian fundraising organisation that brings together the community to improve the health and wellbeing of children who are sick, vulnerable or disadvantaged. Run by the Channel 7 Telethon Trust, it supports life-changing medical research, essential health services and other assistance for children across the state. Its annual Telethon Weekend is a major community event, featuring a 26-hour live broadcast, entertainment and stories from children and families. The event is held in Perth, with activities at RAC Arena and across the city.
