Telio

Telio is a Norwegian telecommunications brand operated by NextGenTel AS, offering home phone services based on internet calling. Its broadband telephony lets customers use a regular telephone and keep their existing phone number, with the aim of providing a lower-cost alternative to traditional landline service. Subscription options include plans with calls to Norwegian landlines, bundles of mobile minutes, and international calling allowances.

Depending on the plan, customers can call landlines in selected countries at Norwegian rates, make included calls to landlines in 30 countries, or use allowances covering more than 100 destinations. Telio also offers the Teliophone Pro app, which brings a customer’s home phone service to their mobile device. Calls over Wi-Fi are charged at the same rate as calls from home, including when travelling abroad; the app is available for a monthly fee.
