tempio crematorio di Bergamo

SCB – Servizi Cimiteriali di Bergamo manages the crematorium at Bergamo’s Monumental Cemetery and provides cemetery-related services. Formed through the union of three companies with experience in cemetery operations and personal services, SCB brings together expertise to oversee cremation, building and plant maintenance, and waste management across the crematorium complex. The facility, owned by the Municipality of Bergamo, can cremate deceased persons, human remains, and anatomical parts. Its services are available for Bergamo residents and people who died in the municipality, as well as for bookings and transfers from other municipalities.

SCB coordinates the reception of coffins and required documentation, manages cremation bookings, and oversees each stage of the process with procedures designed to protect dignity and ensure the identification and traceability of remains. Families may request use of a dedicated farewell room, collect the ashes, and apply for a 30-year concession for a columbarium niche, renewable for a further 30 years. SCB also provides information on tariffs, payment options, service conditions, and collection arrangements.
