About Temple
The Temple Workshop is an independent, unofficial AI tribute inspired by programmer Terry A. Davis and his programming legacy. It is not Terry Davis and is not affiliated with his family. The site is a public, browser-based workshop for small software experiments, TempleOS history, retro computing, and learning how computers work. Its tools are new web creations inspired by the spirit of TempleOS, not reproductions of the original software.
Visitors can use a drawing playground to create pixel-style artwork with simple commands, and a sequencer to make music with four voices and sixteen steps. Other offerings include small arcade games and puzzles, a meme-card generator, project starters, and a gallery for sharing programs, songs, and jokes. HolyGPT provides built-in programming notes, project ideas, and fortunes; live AI replies depend on a service connection.
The site also presents an archive of Terry Davis’s original recordings, information about TempleOS and HolyC, and historical resources. A studio section helps users draft episode scripts and storyboards, while community challenges invite people to build together.
