The Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) is a government-authorized deposit protection scheme that operates in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Established in 2003, TDS is the longest-serving government-approved scheme and the only not-for-profit scheme in the UK.
