Tenisová škola

Tenisová škola Melicherová is a tennis school based in Prague’s Běchovice district, founded in 1997 and led by first-class coach Mirka Melicherová, a former league player. It offers year-round tennis instruction for children and adults, from recreational beginners to aspiring competitive players. Programs include mini-tennis and introductory sessions for children from age four, as well as technical, tactical, psychological, and fitness training for young competitors. Lessons are tailored to each player’s abilities and fitness level, and are available in Czech, Russian, German, and English.

The school also organizes children’s and adult tournaments, summer day camps, weekend tennis breaks, and longer tennis holidays in locations including the Seč area and the Jizera Mountains. Camps combine coached tennis with activities and, depending on the arrangement, accommodation and meals. Training takes place at courts and facilities in Prague and other locations used for tennis stays; court and hall rental is also offered. Additional services include racket restringing and sales of tennis equipment, clothing, footwear, balls, and rackets from brands such as Babolat, Wilson, Yonex, and Merco.
