Tennisclub Buchegg, based in Zürich’s Schwamendingen district, is a community tennis club centered on enjoyment of the game, friendship, social activities and junior development. The club welcomes players of all abilities, from beginners to experienced players, and offers a straightforward playing system without advance bookings: members can turn up and join a game, with court use organized through a shared timekeeping system. From April to October, its courts are available daily from 8 a.m. until dusk, weather permitting.

Facilities include four all-weather clay courts, a practice wall, a ball machine, and a modern clubhouse with a kiosk and terrace. Players can also use showers, changing rooms and lockable storage on request, with parking beside the club. Tennis opportunities include junior training, five Interclub teams, club championships, lessons and a player exchange. The club also brings members together through events such as an opening reception, a tennis-and-jass tournament, brunches and grill evenings. In March 2026, members approved a name change to TC Schwamendingen, reflecting the club’s longstanding connection to its neighborhood.
