Tennis Base Thurau is a tennis school based at Tennisclub Möhlin in the Fricktal region of Switzerland. Led by former professional player Urs Thurau, the school has offered coaching for players of different ages and abilities since 2018. Its facilities include two indoor courts with granulate surfaces and three outdoor clay courts.
The coaching programme ranges from Bambini courses for children aged four to six and junior lessons for ages seven to twenty, to adult instruction. Players can choose private or group sessions, individual or team training, and support with technique, tactics and competition preparation. The school also offers Interclub preparation, seasonal and five-session packages, and holiday camps for children, young people and adults. Its coaching team includes qualified Swiss Tennis and Youth+Sport instructors, and its approach follows Swiss Tennis and Youth+Sport concepts.
Alongside instruction, Tennis Base Thurau provides a racket service, including restringing, string-tension checks, Solinco string options and grip replacement.
