Tenniscenter Kiel

Tennis Center Kiel is an indoor racquet-sports venue in Kiel, Germany, offering access to several tennis and badminton courts throughout the year. The center welcomes players for individual training, competitive matches and informal games, in what it describes as a familiar, friendly atmosphere. It has announced that it will remain open at least through 2027, allowing local players to keep training and playing in the coming seasons.

Visitors can also try pickleball, a sport combining elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. Although the center’s dedicated pickleball court is not currently set up, players can use the tennis courts for the game; the venue says it will provide an update when the official court becomes available again. The tennis hall features a sports-medicine-recommended sprung wooden floor, described as particularly gentle on the joints, alongside a Girloon velour surface intended to support good ball behavior. Located on Christian-Kruse-Straße, Tennis Center Kiel offers a place for a range of ages and abilities to stay active through racquet sports.
