Tennis-Club Westerland

Tennis-Club Westerland e. V. is a tennis club on the North Sea island of Sylt, welcoming both members and visitors. Established in 1939, the club offers outdoor courts, a year-round indoor tennis hall, and facilities for individual play, teams, and tournaments. Courts can be reserved online, by phone, or at an on-site terminal after registration. The club also provides convenient equipment hire: outdoor tennis shoes and balls are free, while hall shoes and rackets are available for a small fee. Tennis balls can also be purchased.

At the Ralf Postert Tennis School, a certified tennis instructor offers tailored individual coaching, small-group lessons, introductory sessions, and discounted multi-session cards. The club can also arrange packages for visiting teams and holiday camps, and helps players find suitable partners or join informal playing groups. A small selection of tennis clothing and accessories is available through its Intersport shop. The indoor hall is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; outdoor courts generally operate from May to October, weather permitting.
