Tennisclub Wendisch Evern is a community tennis club in Wendisch Evern, Germany, bringing together sport, social connection, and an attractive natural setting. Founded on December 1, 1978, with 47 members, the club began playing at its own facility in 1991 after 12 years without courts. Today it has around 180 members, including approximately 90 children and young people.
Its facilities include two well-maintained clay courts, changing rooms, and sanitary areas, plus a wooden shelter where members can gather and grill after playing. During the playing season, generally from April to October or November, the club hosts league and friendly matches, singles and doubles championships, and training sessions. A professionally supervised youth programme is a particular focus, with children’s and youth training offered Monday to Friday from 3 p.
