Teplice Chess Club

Teplice Chess Club (Teplice Chess Club, or TCC) is a chess organization based in Teplice, Czech Republic, promoting the game among children, young people and adults. Its chess school welcomes players aged 6 to 18, from complete beginners to experienced juniors preparing for tournaments, with training adapted to each child’s age, experience and playing strength. Through its Chess in Schools project, the club works with local schools to introduce chess to pupils and establish school clubs.

It also collaborates with DDM Teplice, using the My-Chess platform and digital teaching and analysis tools, including artificial intelligence, to support learning and review games. TCC organizes events for different levels and audiences, including children’s tournaments, adult rapid chess and its international Teplice Open tournament. The club also brings chess to the wider community through public activities and works with Arkadie Teplice to provide a regular chess club for its clients.

Across its programs, TCC presents chess as both an engaging game and an opportunity to develop skills useful in school and everyday life
