Terapeuta na 4 Łapach is a foundation based in Wrocław, Poland, established in 2018 to promote animal-assisted therapy as a way to support rehabilitation, education, personal development and therapeutic work. Its activities are designed especially for people with disabilities and for children and young people facing difficult circumstances or challenges in social relationships. The foundation specializes in dog-assisted therapy and also develops programs with handlers of other animals, including horses and alpacas.

Its services include individual sessions with a psychologist and a therapy dog, tailored to each participant’s needs and potentially focused on psychotherapy, social skills or child development. The foundation also offers animal-assisted social skills training, led by a psychologist and animal handler, and personal development workshops held in nature with animals. These workshops address communication, goal-setting, self-esteem, stress management and emotional expression. Through projects such as the Lower Silesian Animal Therapy Centre, the foundation supports rehabilitation and young people’s development. It also works with partner organisations and welcomes volunteers and donations to help sustain its programs.
